The Howdies are an Athens, GA-based band bringing a fresh take on honkytonk with a scrappy, heartfelt sound. Rooted in classic country storytelling and infused with the freewheeling spirit of their hometown, they blend twangy guitar licks, rustic grooves, and barstool philosophy. Led by songwriters Austin Darnell and Shoni Rancher, the band formed during backyard guitar pulls and late-night whiskey-fueled conversations.
